The Anjani Mata Mandir is an essential part of the Salasar pilgrimage circuit, attracting devotees from all over. The temple's serene atmosphere and sacred significance make it a must-visit destination for those seeking spiritual solace and connection with the divine.
The temple is around 2km from Shree Balaji temple near Hanuman Murti in Juliasar area of Salasar. Anjani Mata is the mother of Hanumanji. This temple belongs to Anjani Mata. Hanuman ji as a child is sitting in on his mother's lap in Anjani Mata idol installed in the temple. The idol of Anjani Mata is very large and is wearing a conch shell and a suhaag-kalash. It is a small temple complex having some Prasad shops outside the main temple. One belief is that people should visit this temple before going to Shree Balaji temple. Other popular belief is people from far and wide submit the first invitation letter of marriage in the family to the temple.
