I recently visited Salasar Balaji Dham, and it was a very peaceful and satisfying experience. The darshan was smooth and didn’t take much time – around 10 to 15 minutes, which made the whole visit very comfortable. The temple atmosphere is truly divine, and being in front of Balaji Maharaj felt very special. One thing I really appreciated was the parking facility. On normal days, except Tuesdays and Saturdays when the crowd is very heavy, there is plenty of parking space available near the temple. This makes the journey a lot easier, especially if you are coming with family. The temple surroundings are also well managed, and the shops around make it convenient to buy prasad or other items. Overall, my visit was memorable and left me with a sense of calm and positivity. It’s definitely a place worth visiting, whether you are going for darshan, spiritual peace, or just to experience the energy of such a sacred place. I would highly recommend planning your visit on weekdays for a smoother experience and to avoid the heavy rush.

The idol also has knotty eyebrows and beautiful eyes as well has a tilak on its forehead. One noteworthy aspect of the Salasar Balaji temple is that it is believed to be a swayambhu shrine or a temple with an idol that manifested by itself. History: Long ago on a Tuesday in the Shravan month on Navami, a farmer from a village called Asota in Rajasthan was ploughing his field. His plough suddenly struck something hard and the farmer could not move it any further. When the farmer inspected the area, he saw a stone there. The farmer removed the stone and started digging further only to find an idol of Hanuman. It was exactly at that moment, the farmer’s wife came to the fields with lunch for the farmer. She had brought churma made using bajra for his lunch. The farmer fed some churma to the idol also. Since then, it is a customary practice among devotees to feed the deity in the shrine with some bajra churma. Parking could be difficult to find.
