Awesome experience. Relgiously soothing. Easy pass through. I visit balaji temple on sunday and there were no rush(it might be crowded on specific dates). One thing that need to keep in mind that you will get prasad only if you have something you purchased from outside. We need to purchase any sweets or boondi etc to get prasad from pandit ji. We only purchased a packet with nariyal, garland, agarbatti and chola that too will be placed in one part of the temple. My experience was fantastic and felt the power when i entered the holy place. Jai shree Ram
Shree Salasar Balaji Temple is a divine and peaceful place located in Salasar, Churu district of Rajasthan, is a famous pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Hanuman (Balaji) where one can truly feel the spiritual energy and blessings of Balaji Maharaj. The temple is beautifully maintained, and being in the presence of Balaji Ji and the Akhand Jyoti fills the heart with faith and positivity.
I noticed that while some people were allowed to go near the statue of Balaji and close to the Akhand Jyoti area.
The temple, known for its miracles and peaceful atmosphere, features traditional Rajasthani architecture and offers facilities for pilgrims, making it a significant spiritual and cultural landmark in Rajasthan.
The visit was spiritually enriching
Salasar Dham is located in Churu district in Rajasthan and is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The key highlight of this shrine is that Hanuman is portrayed with a beard and a moustache. The idol also has knotty eyebrows and beautiful eyes as well has a tilak on its forehead.
One noteworthy aspect of the Salasar Balaji temple is that it is believed to be a swayambhu shrine or a temple with an idol that manifested by itself. Worshippers also consider the temple to be a Shakti Sthal or a place of power. The temple is also claimed to be a place where the wishes of devotees come true.
History: Long ago on a Tuesday in the Shravan month on Navami, a farmer from a village called Asota in Rajasthan was ploughing his field. His plough suddenly struck something hard and the farmer could not move it any further. When the farmer inspected the area, he saw a stone there. The farmer removed the stone and started digging further only to find an idol of Hanuman.
It was exactly at that moment, the farmerโs wife came to the fields with lunch for the farmer. She had brought churma made using bajra for his lunch. The farmer fed some churma to the idol also. Since then, it is a customary practice among devotees to feed the deity in the shrine with some bajra churma.
Parking could be difficult to find.
